Sugapa Intan Jaya – The Raider 509 Infantry Battalion Task Force (Satgas Yonif Raider 509/Balawara Yudha Kostrad), a unit under TNI HABEMA Operations, continues its border security mission between Indonesia and Papua New Guinea, with a focus on Intan Jaya Regency, Central Papua Province. On Sunday, December 8, 2024, the Holomama Post, led by First Lieutenant Infantry Wanianto, implemented the ROSITA program (Borong Hasil Tani), purchasing agricultural produce from Mamba Village residents in Sugapa District.

The ROSITA program, initiated by Satgas Yonif 509 Kostrad, aligns with directives from Commander Lieutenant Colonel Infantry Dian Dessiawan Setyadi, emphasizing the importance of assisting local communities while fulfilling primary security duties. During this program, TNI personnel used their personal funds to buy produce from villagers, both supporting the local economy and supplying their own dietary needs.

The initiative created an opportunity for meaningful interaction between the soldiers and the villagers. Sellers expressed joy and gratitude as their goods sold out. Mama Ria Japugau, one of the sellers, expressed her heartfelt appreciation, saying, “Thank you, Komandan 509. God bless you.”

"The ROSITA program reflects the TNI's dedication to boosting the local economy and advancing development in Papua," said Brigadier General TNI Lucky Avianto, Commander of HABEMA, following a report on the event.
